Our client is a consulting firm focused on leading edge solutions. This is a full-time position located in King of Prussia, PA.
To develop intelligent agents and expert systems for projects. The Senior Consultant will serve as the primary developer and may act as a project technical lead for areas of development. The responsibilities can include requirements definition, development, detailed design documentation, design briefings, unit and system testing.
Job Functions:
- Assist in gathering requirements and defining derived requirements.
- Perform detailed technical design on requirements and direction provided by the technical lead and enterprise architect.
- Develop software applications and services.
- Investigate new technologies.
- Perform rudimentary system administration tasks including software installation.

Skills
|
- Minimum 7 years experience with software development with at least 4 years of expert system and intelligent agent development.
- Knowledge of UML and other formal requirements gathering methodologies. Strong experience with object oriented development, expert systems, and intelligent agents.
- Knowledge of (JESS, Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJBs, Swing, JMS, XML, XSL, SOAP, WSDL, UML, Unix, Windows XP, Oracle, SQL Server, Apache Tools), proficient technical writing skills, object-oriented design knowledge, expert system and intelligent agent design.
- Ability to compare and contrast emerging technologies and evaluate them against the system requirements for possible use in developing solutions.
- Equally comfortable using Unix and Microsoft environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering strongly desired.
- U.S. Citizen required.
